Homepage Key Notes

Let’s first start by opening your homepage.

IN THIS LESSON

From your Squarespace dashboard, go to Pages and select your Homepage.

Click Edit to open the page editor.

You'll see the different sections that make up your homepage stacked vertically from top to bottom.

Each section can be edited individually, and you'll usually see options to Edit, Duplicate, Move, or Delete when you hover over a section.

Before you start making changes, I recommend scrolling through the entire page once.

Take a look at how everything is laid out and think about what you want to keep, what you want to change, and what doesn't apply to your business.

You don't need to figure everything out before you begin. You can work your way down the page one section at a time.

the three sheet = layers of the page

+ add block = add any additional design element to the current block

edit section = change background, colors, spacing

view layout = change the layout of the current block

two squares = duplicate

arrows = move up or down

trash = remove the entire block
