Let’s Wrap Up The Homepage Edits!
Add a New Section
Maybe you've gone through the entire homepage and realized there is something important missing.
Good news—you can add it.
Scroll to the area where you'd like your new section to appear and click Add Section.
Squarespace gives you a variety of pre-designed sections that you can customize.
Delete Anything You Don't Need
This might be one of the most important things to remember when customizing your homepage, you are allowed to delete things.
Rearrange Your Homepage
You can also change the order of your sections. Maybe you want your services higher on the page. Maybe you'd rather introduce yourself before showing your products.
Check Every Link
Before you consider your homepage finished, click through every button and link. Seriously. Do this.
Check Your Mobile Homepage
And finally, take a look at the entire homepage on mobile. Scroll through the entire page.
Make sure your images are cropping nicely, your headings aren't awkwardly broken across multiple lines, your buttons are easy to tap, and your sections aren't creating unnecessary amounts of empty space.
