Let’s Dive Into The First Block: Your Hero Image
IN THIS LESSON
The very first section of your homepage is your hero section.
This is the large section at the very top of the page and is usually the first thing someone sees when they arrive.
In this template, the hero includes a large background image, a main heading, supporting text, and a button.
This is your opportunity to immediately tell someone who you are, what you do, and what they can expect from your website.
Change The Main Image
To replace the hero image, click on the section and select the edit, then select background.
Upload your own image or choose one from your image library.
Try to choose an image that works well with the text placement.
SEO Tips
In the field ALTERNATIVE FILENAME, add a keyword or keyword phrase to rank higher in search engines. You can do this throughout the website.
Change The Text
Click directly on the heading and replace the template text with your own.
Your main heading doesn't necessarily need to explain everything you do. It can be simple, memorable, and paired with a supporting sentence that provides a little more context.
